Love, love, love the color contrast!!!…and the framing..and the curve of the road…and the hills…and the clouds…everything about this photo is so great! This looks like a beautiful area of the country.
Nice photo Brad.
Very nice! I like this one a lot for the same reasons that Miss Hannah does!
The contrast of the sand and the mountains is breathtakingly beautiful!
It is strikingly beautiful! The colors are very vividly patriotic with the red car, white sand, and blue sky and mountains.
Tis the embodiment of everything American – freedom, the liberty to travel, the wide open spaces to be explored and conquered, the sky and mountains draw your thoughts to far off dreams of distant lands or visions for the future, wondering what is around the bend, what does the future hold, and even though it does not tell you it looks very “bright”
the car and well maintained road indicate the industry, civilization, and comforts we have been blessed with, yet the rustic landscape show that our country is not all dark gloomy concrete filled factory cities, and gives it a sense of “bigness”.
It’s really a great picture! Would make a perfect post card.
Hey thanks all!
Hannah, I was taking a photo of the road and the truck came up and just looked so perfect.
Melody, that’s funny, cuz I was thinking that exactly when I took the photo… I was pondering how many post cards I could actually sell within the next year, how much to sell them for and when I made my millions what I could do with…. ok fine so I wasn’t, I guess I just took it.
HAHA! You make me laugh! …but out of curiosity, what WOULD you do with the millions?
(Hey, it never hurts to try selling em anyway, the worst they could do is tear your picture up and throw it in you face while yelling NO! …jk )
Seriously though, I think it could sell. But then again, most of everyone’s pictures on this blog could sell as good post cards at the least if not something better than a post card, they are all excellent(!), so I guess there is nothing special about yours.
(hehehe…)
Umm… thanks for the encouragement… haha
Well first of all I would tithe at least 10% to the Lord,(and it depends on how fast I earned it, but if it came real fast and I had it now) then I would probably buy a Ford F-250 crew cab FX4, buy property in AZ to setup as a vacation rental and some land in WA to work on and make it ready for when I have a family. I would want to see if there were any needs in the body of Christ that I could help meet as well, as that is the duty of those of the faith anyway. And invest or save the rest.
Oh… I wasn’t expecting a serious answer as I was partly teasing…lol… but I like your answer nonetheless.
Typical American young man- the first thing he wants is a truck.
Last week the Lord had me attend a Bible study… in a conference room full of millionaires who own oil companies! Now that’s a place that I never thought I’d be! Yet all the men were so humble, ordinary, and fervent for Christ, it really ministered to me.
But I wonder what they do with their millions? Some of them I know use it specifically to minister to the body of Christ, but I wonder what the rest of them do with it…. I didn’t get a chance to ask, maybe I will this Thursday.
Sorry to (somewhat) disappoint you, should I have said I would blow it all on candy, soda and video games?
Absolutely not! If you had I really would have been disappointed-I expect more from my brothers in Christ.:) I was not in the least disappointed, only I half expected at least a partly sarcastic answer before the real one.
No, I’m proud to know I have brothers like you with such godly vision-there are already enough guys that would blow it on those things.
Definitely turn that into a postcard or prints or something! That’s too good of a photo not to try to make some money off of.
