They are not visible in the photo but when we were in Yosemite a while back, we stopped at this rock formation for a while to watch a few rock climbers.

Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. ~ Psalm 36:5-7

Day 194 – Pink and Green

by Megan

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

- Genesis 3:18-19

From time to time, I will be posting a photo on 4HisGlory as a guest as I was no longer able to continue posting weekly. Thank you Andrew and Antoinette for the opportunity to share photographs of God’s creation.

Coram Deo,

I was working with very low light in this photo and it is grainy and not too sharp.

This past week, we sung a hymn taken from Psalm 128 entitled ”Blest the Man that Fears Jehovah”.

I believe that the Lord has blessed my father.

My father fears the Lord and has been married to my mother for 25 years.  During those 25 years, the Lord blessed them with six children. They have taught us to fear the Lord and we pray that we will walk in the Law of the Lord all our days.

Also, today is the day we celebrate as Independence Day. May we never forget the providence of God throughout history. It is His story.

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.  Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel. ~ Psalm 128

Day 152 – Mini Waterfall

by Megan

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. – Philippians 4:4-8

Day 146 – Hydrangea

by Megan

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Romans 11:33

How can  a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not  wander from your commandments!  I have  stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips I  declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies I  delight as much as in all  riches. I will  meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your  ways. I will  delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. Psalm 119:9-16

Day 134 – Clydesdale

by Megan

We saw a few grand Clydesdales today as we were traveling. The Lord’s creation is amazing!

“Do you give the horse his might? Do you clothe his neck with a mane? Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrifying. He paws in the valley and exults in his strength; he goes out to meet the weapons. He laughs at fear and is not dismayed; he does not turn back from the sword. – Job 39:19-22

His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor His pleasure in the legs of a man,but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love. – Psalm 147:10-11

I love my brothers dearly and this hat belongs to one of them. As they grow older, they are proving themselves to be men. It has been a blessing to see the fruit of the Lord’s work in the lives of my brothers as they grow in the knowledge of their Lord and Savior.

May the Lord raise you three up to be mighty men of God with a passionate zeal to seek ye first the Kingdom of God.

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the idle shall be under tribute.  Proverbs 12:24

A man shall be satiate with good things by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man`s hands shall God give unto him.  Proverbs 12:14
